Christmas In Colorado

Hello All! I hope that you had a very Merry Christmas and I am looking forward to seeing you in the new Year. I am spending Christmas in Colorado at my Dad's in Fort Collins. The weather was great here. Very little snow outside. Just had to wear a jacket outside. Went to check out the local scrapbook stores (I am looking for polar bear paper) They had 2 to check out. They were both very nice. One of them was very large. Lots and lots of embellishments. I could have spent a lot of time in this store, however my husband was with me and that tends to make the scrapbooking shopping time quicker.

Just sitting around watching TV and playing on the computer and hanging out with the family. Enjoying the time. I did not (I know, its a first) bring my scrapbooking supplies with me up here to Dads. I knew we were going to have a full vehicle coming home so rather than have to figure ot where to pack stuff I decided that I would just keep it simple. Brought the laptop and movies and had a little catch up on a few flicks that I wanted to see.

Going to go and get my favorite wings tomorrow at Jim's Wings. Yummy Yummy Yummy is all I have to say. BWW does not even hold a candle to these. I think we may stop at the outlet mall tomorrow and not real sure what else. Just enjoying having time off and having a job that allows me to have a weekend where I can get out of town. (I miss my kitties though).

Ok.. enough blabbing. I would love to hear from some of you of things you would like to do in classes. So post your ideas on the blog. Also I am going to do something new. Let me know you are reading my blog and I will put you in a drawing for blog candy! Blog candy what is that you ask. That is stuff that I am going to give away to you. Could be stamped items, merchandise, free classes etc. Just depends on the week/posting and what I have around. So to be entered in this round of blog candy prizes you will need to let me know what you would like to see in upcoming classes!

Toodles for now,
Julie

WANTED!!! Stampers & Scrappers
Yup, that's right, YOU are wanted! Didn't know that did you?
I want you to be in my next Stamper's 6 Club. New to the club? Wondering just what the heck I'm babbling about? Let me explain . . .
A Stamper's 6 Club is a group of 6 people, who can be friends or strangers, who agree to place an order with a minimum of $25 each, once every other month. Orders are generally due on the 10th and will be placed together to form a Workshop. With that workshop, Hostess Benefits will be awarded, once per month, to each of the hostesses.
For example:
Amy contacts me first, so she is the "Hostess" for August 2008. Then Jennifer and Keri sign up and are the hostesses for October and December 2008 respectively. The rest of the months will be assigned to hostesses in the order in which they sign up until every other month of the year is filled up, ending with June 2009.
Each member gets a minimum of a Level I hostess set, as well as a minimum of $15 free hostess dollars. If you choose to host a in-home workshop the month you are hostess you can greatly increase your hostess benefits. You can also choose to gather extra outside orders during your hostess month in order to increase your benefits. Club members are also the first to hear of specials and also receive certain perks throughout the year.
I currently have one club that is in need of 4 members. Any additional members will be assigned to the next club.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please let me know asap so we can secure your spot!
Have a great day! (stampers names above have been changed to protect the innocent... LOL.. Not really).

Stampingly,
Julie

Wednesday - Is it Friday yet?????

Hellloooo there! Whew, I am still up working on stuff for the open house. I almost have the purse done that will be an upcoming class. I made a really cute sign for my bathroom and will be finishing my "seasonal" plate. My spooky spider jar that is made with our Decor Elements is just really cute. I am having so much fun playing in the stamp room right now that I just dont want to go to work. I just want to play. (he he). Dakota has been up here all night stamping and sorting things with me. He loves the stamp room.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon! For those of you that RSVP'd remember that you get extra tickets! Gotta get some sleep! Toodles

Weekend is over

Another weekend passes us by. Where do they go. I went garage saleing Saturday with my friends and we were looking for great bargains (I was looking for things to apply the decor elements on). Got rained on but had a good time. Sunday I played on the computer and did a little stamping in the stamp room getting ready for the open house. I have some really cute projects in the works. I am hoping that I can get a few more done and post them online for everyone here in the next couple of days.

Well I am going to head to bed so that I can dream of stamping some more!

The New Catalog is here, The new catalog is here!

Did I mention that the new catalog is here. I have them. They are available. Convention was great! (oh no wait terrible, bad, awful) that was for J.R. My head is swimming with ideas. I have so many great samples that I traded for. It was the best year with the best card ideas. We got FREE stamps given to us. Not to mention the 3 free sets we got at convention. A really cool gift bag and stuff from memento mall (a supply tote). They really spoil us there. I could go to convention daily :)

Much to your disbelief I have updated my classes and events on my website. I am hoping to have a newsletter out to you by this weekend. Between the other 100 things I will be trying to fit in this weekend. Not sure when I am going to catch up on my sleep from last week, but I have to somewhere. I am toooo tired at work.

Ok, I just wanted to give you a little update and say hello to my fans! Goodnight and hope to speak to you soon. visit my website www.julieward.stampinup.net
